Our Location

Our Hampton Division is located in the center of Downtown Hampton on the fifth floor of the Harbour Centre building.  The office overlooks the Hampton River, which feeds into the Hampton Roads waterway and the Chesapeake Bay.

How to Get Here

Driving directions to the Hampton, Virginia office:
 
From South Hampton Roads - Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Virginia Beach, and Norfolk International Airport
 

Take I-64 West through the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel to Hampton

Take Exit 267 (2nd exit - right) onto the Woodland Road/Hampton University exit

Turn left at the light at the foot of the ramp onto Settlers Landing Road

Cross over the Hampton River Bridge

Turn right at the stop light at the foot of the bridge onto Eaton Street

The Harbour Centre (2 Eaton Street) is immediately to the right across from the Radisson Hotel. 

 
From the Newport News/Williamsburg Airport
 

From the airport parking lot, take a left onto Bland Blvd. 

At the light, take a left onto Jefferson Ave going approximately 1.5 miles towards I-64 East 

Take I-64 East (2nd right) heading towards Hampton/Norfolk (this entrance is tricky, you want the second entrance onto 64 from Jefferson, so don’t get into the far right lane until you pass the first I-64 entrance, otherwise you will end up going towards Richmond).

Pass the following major exits: 

-        Hampton Coliseum on left

-        Langley Air Force Base exit

Take Exit 267 (exit right) onto Settlers Landing Road/Hampton University exit

Turn right at the light onto Settler’s Landing Road

Cross over the Hampton River Bridge

Turn right at the stop light at the foot of the bridge onto Eaton Street

The Harbour Centre (2 Eaton Street) is immediately to the right across from the Radisson Hotel. 

 
From the Washington DC Area
 

Take I-95 South to I-295 to Norfolk (exit left)

Take I-295 (approximately 20 minutes) to I-64 East (exit right) towards Norfolk

I-64 East (once on I-64, it is approximately 1 hour to Hampton)

Pass the following major exits:

-        Lightfoot

-        Williamsburg (approximately 5-7 exits)

-        Newport News (approximately 5 exits)

-        Coliseum Mall on left

-        Langley Air Force Base exit

Take Exit 267 (exit right) onto Settlers Landing Road/Hampton University exit

Turn right at the light onto Settler’s Landing Road

Cross over the Hampton River Bridge

Turn right at the stop light at the foot of the bridge onto Eaton Street

The Harbour Centre (2 Eaton Street) is immediately to the right across from the Radisson Hotel. 

About Our Local Area

The Virginia Peninsula is a boating and fishing paradise in the mid Atlantic.  Sailboat Image

Downtown Hampton sports a fine Radisson Hotel, the Virginia Air and Space Museum and IMAX Theater, the Hampton Yacht Club, Fort Monroe, Hampton Roads Sightseeing Tours, and other attractions. Nearby are Norfolk's Waterside and the beaches of Virginia Beach. Also close by are Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, Water Country, and Colonial Jamestown. The Mariner's Museum is in nearby Newport News.

Our People

The Hampton Division has a technical staff of fifteen (5 PhD, 5 MS, 5 BS/BA in mathematics and related sciences).

We are always looking for more software talent, especially with Java, LINUX/UNIX, C++, CX-Windows/MOTIF, and Windows NT. You must be able to implement mathematical and numeric algorithms as well as test and debug all sorts of applications.
