Distributed Communications Evaluation and Optimization

Wagner Associates has been involved in the analysis and optimization of distributed communications since our early work on the Joint Tactical Information Distribution System (JTIDS) with Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (JHU/APL).  During that work, we analyzed the JTIDS message standards, procedures, and Battle Group tactical requirements in order to recommend changes for improved data registration.  We also developed an information-theoretic basis for assessing self-interference and bandwidth congestion on JTIDS networks.
