Joint STARS Demonstration
In a demonstration package developed for Army and Air Force
officials, Wagner Associates showed how the MATCH algorithm could
be used to correlate large numbers of reports from an airborne
radar system such as Joint STARS. Under a contract task funded by U.S.
Army CECOM, Wagner Associates used our Near-Real-Time Data Fusion (NRTDF) system
to demonstrate the ability to fuse SIGINT data with GMTI data.
The demonstration scenario consisted of over 150 enemy units
in a typical maneuver from a rear position to the front lines,
over a twelve-hour picture. MATCH successfully integrated radar
reports with passive reports gathered by electronic intelligence
(ELINT) and overflights of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
