The Default Mission: El Toro

Since this is a prototype version of an MPM, it only handles one mission at a time. The first picture to the right shows the Main Menu of the prototype JSOW MPM. This is the control center of the MPM, allowing you to edit the missile's route, edit coloring and overlay preferences, edit data management preferences (using Metplan), and view METOC products.

On startup, the MPM loads its default JSOW mission targeting the runway at El Toro Marine Corps Air Station southeast of Los Angeles. You can change the target to be anywhere in the world. We chose this target because unclassified imagery, DTED, and COAMPS data are all currently available here.
