Route Editor
The Route Editor allows you to manually enter route information.
Clicking OK saves the entered data, redraws the route,
and closes the Route Editor. Clicking Apply saves the window's
data and redraws the route. Clicking Cancel restores the
route to the state it had before you brought up the Route Editor.
Most route editing functions can also be done via the Popup
Menu.
- Name
Allows you to name your route.
- Attack Mode
There are two attack modes for JSOW: Preplanned and Target Of
Opportunity. This is currently unused.
- Variant
There are three variants of JSOW: A (Baseline or BLU-97), B (BLU-108),
and C (Unitary). Currently only the baseline is supported.
- Release Point
Allows you to enter the lat/lon/altitude and airspeed at which
the missile will be released.
- Waypoints
There can be at most six waypoints in the route. The MPM will
not allow waypoint entry if the waypoints are too close to each
other, the release point, or the target.
- Add
Clicking on this button will pop up the Waypoint
Editor for adding a waypoint. If a waypoint is highlighted
in the list, the new waypoint will be added after it. If not,
the new waypoint will be added to the end of the list.
- Edit
Clicking on a waypoint in the list and then clicking on this
button (or double-clicking the waypoint in the list) will pop
up the Waypoint Editor to allow
you to change the waypoint's location and altitude.
- Delete
Click on a waypoint in the list and then click on this button
to delete it.
- Target
Allows you to provide a target name, class, id, subclass, lat/lon,
dispense altitude, and Time On Target (TOT). Also shown are the
range (release point's distance from the target, ignoring waypoints)
and the flight distance (number of miles traveled by the missile,
including waypoints).
- View Vertical Profile
Pops up the Vertical Profile screen
to show the missile's flight profile.
