Analysis Model (THEAM)
TASM/Harpoon Engagement Analysis Model (THEAM)—for APL,
1990 - 1994. This program, developed by Wagner Associates, extends SASHEM to
include the Tomahawk Anti-Ship Missile (TASM) as well as Harpoon. It contains a
number of algorithm improvements which provide a ten-fold processing speed
increase. It also contains an improved version of the Hard Kill model, which
simulates the threat area defense reactions to the planned cruise missile
attack. THEAM has received a considerable degree of favorable attention in the
Joint Cruise Missile community as well as from Navy tactics development and
evaluation agencies.
