The Early Days of Tracking

Early in its long history, Wagner Associates established itself as the industry leader in tracking and data fusion, starting with the Maneuvering Target Statistical Tracker (MTST).  Developed in 1980, MTST became the basis for tracking in the Global Command and Control System (GCCS), Tomahawk Weapon Control System (TWCS), and many other Navy systems.  Building on MTST, Wagner then developed (in 1984) a multiple hypothesis tracker/correlator called MATCH, which served as the Gaussian tracker in the Global Correlation Engine (GCE) and continues to support multiple Data Fusion systems.
