Mission Optimization Web Service for Undersea Warfare Decision Support System (USW-DSS)
Transitioned to USW-DSS Build 2; originally installed at CTF-34 in Pearl Harbor as part of Theater Undersea Warfare Initiative (TUSWI). Uses detailed non-homogeneous environmental data generated by the Navy standard STAPLE system, non-Gaussian tracking algorithms, and non-Gaussian resource optimization algorithms to predict the future location of high-interest targets and to optimize search against these targets. Allows the user to determine where and how to utilize assets such as ships, submarines, and aircraft when searching for threat submarines in an area of interest.
